Privacy

AnalyzeTafsir is designed for private reading. We do not require an account and do not send your search terms, Quran text, Tafsir text, narration text, or reading content to analytics services.

Usage analytics

Google Analytics 4 records limited technical and usage events such as sanitized page paths, general traffic source, feature usage, reading engagement, device category, and web performance. Analytics collection is enabled when the production application loads.

We do not enable Google Signals, advertising personalization, user-provided data, or user identity tracking. Analytics event data is retained for up to 14 months.

Diagnostics

Cloud Logging and Sentry help diagnose failures and performance problems. Diagnostic data is redacted to exclude content, search queries, credentials, cookies, and database values.

Search performance

Google Search Console provides aggregated information about indexing and visits from Google Search. It does not add tracking code to the reader.

Search processing

Exact Search runs against AnalyzeTafsir's own database and does not send your query to an AI service. When you use AI Search, or the combined All search type, the query is sent to OpenAI to find Tafsir Hadiths by meaning and to the hosted Quran verse semantic search service to find verses by meaning.

Search terms, generated embeddings, enhanced queries, and result content are not sent to Google Analytics and are excluded from application and diagnostic logs.

Local preferences

Your theme, translation language, narration layout, and Continue Reading position remain stored only in your browser. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may prevent analytics requests without affecting reader features.
